A sunny evening photowalk in Green Lake Park

It was a sunny evening and Brenda, Jesse, and I headed out for a short photo walk.

This photo reminds me of that scene in An Inconvenient Truth where there's a pond with water. It was a beautiful scene.
I'm not sure what kind of bird this is. A loon? Cormoran? Dodo?
Here's a macro of a corkscrew willow. The leaves are so awesome.
Out on the shore there's this weird locked hatch. I'm not sure what it goes to, but I love the rusted look.
Here's a detail on the padlock.
The obligatory guy sleeping on a pair of tables. No, he never saw me take this, and no, I don't know who he is.
A couple of ducks I snuck up on.
This guy was just sitting there charming a bird - its call was beautiful so I recorded a video too.

I forgot that my Kodak V570 camera doesn't auto-rotate videos like it does for photos. So it's a sideways video. DEAL WITH IT
These little pink-tipped flowers were growing in the grass.
Brenda likes to casually float around the park.
Jesse does too. It's very relaxing.
These flowers were hanging from a tree. I love macro shots.
On the walk back from the park there were these striped tulips.
Later we saw this cool weed growing at Andru's house.
It's cool, has a dark stem and bright green leaves.
Finally, there's a pretty rose growing there too, with a great swirly petal pattern.
